Welcome...

Hi, everyone. It’s John. I’m on sabbatical for the next year and 7 months or so. I’ve made a commitment to a wilderness therapy camp and I’ll return to full time art when I’m ready. I’m still around to answer questions, though. I’ll keep things running peripherally, and I’ll continue checking emails. Stupid Creatures is not dead, rather, undergoing a transformative slumber.

That said, the custom plush services will not be offered until further notice, and ready made creatures will be available on Etsy only here and there. If you have any questions about this pause in production, please send an email, or visit the about page to see where I am. Right now I’m experimenting with the damaged clothing campers can no longer wear. All that fabric tells a story and I want to see if I can translate it into a new generation of Stupid Creatures.
